The 10th anniversary of the GT-1000™ running shoe takes a big step forward in what this model represents. Designed for runners with an active lifestyle, they are looking for a lightweight everyday shoe with excellent cushioning. The upper has been reimagined with a new technical mesh that conforms to the natural shape of your foot while providing comfortable midfoot support. With the addition of an integrated support system, this application improves heel fit and creates a more secure feel. Following a more sustainable design approach, this shoe also uses fewer resources to color the insole. Featuring a GEL™ technology cushioning layer in the heel to improve shock absorption, the shoe also incorporates a FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material that provides a softer, more supported feel upon foot strike. Finally, the DUOMAX™ support system consists of a firmer foam density placed on the medial side of the midsole to help reduce pronounced inward foot roll (overpronation) while improving stability.
