The Hype WP is a low-profile, versatile and durable shoe designed for light hiking and more challenging walks.
UPPER AND LINING
The upper is made of leather and the lace area is reinforced with a layer of polyurethane to guarantee greater resistance to abrasion. The inner mesh lining is reinforced with the Water Stopper membrane, an exclusive Trezeta technology that uses 3 very thin layers of water-repellent material to prevent water penetration while allowing moisture and perspiration to escape, guaranteeing excellent climatic comfort and dry feet. The ankle area features High Frequency technology, a special polyurethane coating that strengthens, supports and protects the ankle area.
FIT AND LACING
The Hype is easy and intuitive to put on: the classic taped eyelets give you maximum freedom to customize the shape of the shoe as you wish, while the low-cut collar guarantees freedom of movement without compromising foot stability and safety. The sprayed Liquid Rubber toe cap keeps the shoe lightweight, while increasing durability and protecting the foot from impact. The Hype has a snug, comfortable fit, making it perfect for hikers who want to feel a well-wrapped forefoot and toes, but without feeling cramped.
SOLE UNITY
The ultra-lightweight EVA microporous midsole provides shock absorption and stability while walking, reducing the stress caused by long days on the hill, while the Vibram® Dom two-tone outsole features a dense tread pattern that guarantees maximum grip underfoot - even on wet, slippery terrain.
