Description
Heart rate monitor belt Garmin
The HRM-Run heart rate monitor provides the most advanced running measurements for Garmin's Forerunner® premium running watches. Small and lightweight, the module fully adjusts to the width of the strap, making it easily adjustable and very comfortable.
HRM-Run provides 6 metrics of stroke dynamics:
- Cadence: the number of steps taken per minute.
- Vertical oscillation: the "bounce" when you run and the vertical movement of your torso, expressed in centimetres for each step.
- Ground contact time: the time spent on the ground at each step while running, expressed in milliseconds.
- Ground contact time balance: the right/left balance of the ground contact time during the run, expressed as a percentage; for example, 53.2 with an arrow pointing left or right.
- Stride length: the length of your stride from one step to the next, expressed in meters.
- Vertical Ratio: the ratio of your vertical oscillation to your stride length, expressed as a percentage; the lower the number, the better you run
This real-time data can help athletes increase their performance by showing them where they can improve their running technique.
