Simplified and refreshed. We designed the Escalante 4 as a tribute to the beloved Escalante 1.5, featuring a FootShape fit, more flexibility, and a lighter weight. Tackle quick training sessions, daily walks, or everyday runs in this minimalist and versatile road mileage eater. It has a knit upper designed for a closer sock-like fit and more tolerance, with a knitted tongue, just like the original Escalante. We evolved the rubber midsole for a lighter weight and greater flexibility so you can feel connected to the road. A new insole resembles the iconic Escalante 1.5 and 2.0, with the same Altra EGO™ midsole foam for responsiveness and comfort. Move as you were meant to with a spacious toe box to help your toes move freely and a zero drop. How did we manage to pack so much comfort and style into such a simple shoe?
