The walking capacity is exceptional due to the innovative Double Heell™ heel construction: the very pronounced double rear lugs enhance braking on descents and provide a smoother roll to reduce muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness unite in this new outsole/midsole assembly with an external Rubber Guard™ shell and internal foam for enhanced lightness and cushioning with minimal rubber layering used. The ergonomic, wrap-around, and precise shape integrates TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The directional junction 3D Flex System Evo™ with a contoured ankle and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better foothold control and perfect ankle mobility. The lace protection gaiter at the toe prevents chafing. The midsole is semi-crampon compatible, and the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole features Impact Brake System lugs for better adaptability to the hard surfaces of rocks.
