The B-LIGHT CARBONE ALU MK2 - SAPHIR or RUBIS is an adjustable trekking pole made of carbon and aluminium. A lightweight telescopic pole This telescopic trekking pole consists of three sections: the top 2 sections made of UltraTech carbon and the bottom section made of 7075 aluminium. Carbon is a lightweight material that effectively absorbs vibrations better than aluminium. Aluminium 7075, used in aviation, can withstand deformation and twisting, providing durability and strength. This aluminium/carbon model is therefore a perfect compromise between lightness and strength! Ideal for slightly more technical terrains, such as rocky paths or mineral surfaces. The B LIGHT ALU/CARBONE can be adjusted in height to easily and quickly fit the hiker's size and the inclination of the terrain. This adjustment is made possible by its Easylock clamp tightening system with external aluminium clamps. It's a reliable and secure system over time. Folded, these poles are compact (59 cm for the Rubis model and 62 cm for the Saphir model), making them easy to store or attach to your bag. It's the ideal companion for trekkers and regular hikers. Quality accessories and finishes Its R-Go foam handle is nice to the touch and offers several grip positions: classic around the handle or on top by placing the hand on the head equipped with a "snake skin" groove for better grip. Its strap is called hybrid as it is halfway between a strap and a glove. It is comfortable and breathable thanks to its mesh structure. Ergonomic, it prevents the hand from tensing and maintains the alignment between the forearm and the handle/hand. There's no need to grip the handle tightly; this strap allows for a push on the pole equivalent to an inclination of about 15° from the handle. Its new DropTip point is 2x stronger and more durable (tungsten carbide K40 Special developed from pneumatic materials and created for GUIDETTI). Shock-absorbing, it reduces vibrations and guarantees an 80% reduction in noise for optimal comfort. Its new SnowFlex basket maximizes grip on snow regardless of the type of snow and the slope! It comes from a new technology patented by GUIDETTI. A "four-season" pole The new FullTrek tip kit from GUIDETTI commits to providing optimal safety in all seasons and weather conditions. The MK2 poles GUIDETTI, designed for maximum grip and durability in summer and winter, come with two specific types of baskets: Summer FullTrek baskets: ideal for rugged terrains, they prevent the pole from getting stuck or breaking in a crack or between rocks. Winter SnowFlex baskets: with a wider diameter, they complement the Summer FullTrek basket to adapt to all snow types and slopes. Their design ensures optimal flotation on powder snow for perfect efficiency (flotation and push) of the pole. Their material guarantees excellent grip and adapts to all types of inclinations. On hard snow, the SnowFlex does not hinder the tip's grip. GripPad caps: they protect trails while offering better grip and increased durability on hard surfaces.
