The zippered clamshell version of our benchmark Speed bag, renowned from the Rockies to the Fitz Roy, the Black Diamond Speed is a léger bag designed for rapide style progression on rock, snow or ice anywhere in the world. Featuring a new UTS™-coated BD X-rip 210d material, the new Speed Zip bag is ultra durable and withstands season after season of intensive mountain use. It also boasts enhanced levels of comfort thanks to the new anti-moisture back panel and redesigned dual-density foam shoulder straps for improved load distribution durant the approach while remaining minimalist on the wall. PickPockets™ ice axe holders now feature a new metal toggle attachment offering more secure transport; practical ultra crampon holders and retractable rope holder complete the organizational possibilities on the bag. Textured main flap buckles convenient for use with gloves and drawstring skirt offering easier access and forming extra protection against spindrifts and light precipitation.
