The Bike Erg is the latest innovation from Concept2, creators of the Erg Rowing Machine and Erg Ski. It uses the same air wheel and PM5 monitor, delivering to cycling the same benefits and features previously brought to rowing and cross-country skiing. The Bike Erg is also lighter than most stationary bikes, and similar in outdoor pedaling feel.
A resistance principle. The wheel uses the principle of air resistance to generate a smooth, silent pedaling experience to match your efforts. The more you pedal, the more the intensity and challenge of your training will meet your expectations. The resistance lever reproduces the gear system of a bicycle, allowing you to adjust the feel of your pedaling. Unlike most bikes, the Bike Erg has a freewheel.
