At the end of a long day's hiking, you pitch your tent on the shores of a crystal blue mountain lake. This is what theexolight ii was designed for: light and comfortable accommodation for two people in the wilderness. The tent is built to withstand rain and strong winds.
The pole sections are all interconnected. This gives extra stability in the wind and simplifies the setup procedure. The tent also requires very few stakes, which is useful when pitching on rocky terrain for example. The inner tent and rain fly are also connected to each other and simply clip onto the pole system, which is a great advantage when pitching in the rain.
The rain fly is coated with PU on the inside and silicone on the outside. This means that in addition to its high-tenacity ripstop attributes, it is also permanently waterproof. In other words, it is built to withstand heavy rain and rough treatment. The exolight has two entrances (one on each side) with screens that allow air to circulate freely without letting in gnats.
