BioTechUSA Fiber Mix contains popular sources of fiber, such as plantago seed husk and glucomannan (better known by its other name: devil's tongue). Plantago seed husk is a source of water-soluble fiber, often used as a gelling or thickening agent, because it can absorb water very efficiently, thus increasing its own mass several times.
As part of an energy-restricted diet, glucomannan helps reduce body weight* and maintain normal blood cholesterol levels**.
USE IT THE WAY YOU LIKE IT
Because of their nutrient content, components containing plantago husks and glucomannan are often used in diets, adding them to yogurt or porridge, but they are also a perfect choice for thickening soups or stews. With this fiber-rich Fiber Mix product, you can do both at the same time. Plus, we've added three autres sources of useful fiber: inulin, citrus fiber and fructo-oligosaccharides. It contains only 10 kcal per serving.
You can consume it alone, dissolved in water, but you can also quietly vary the experiences, for example by adding it to a smoothie, as an ingredient in a cake fitness or even to thicken a sauce. If you mix it with fermented yogurt, you can provide your body with both prebiotics (water-soluble dietary fibers) and probiotics (thanks to the live ferments found in yogurt).
